And Away We Go!

It’s been two years since my first book, Murder on Main Street, hit the presses and we’re back for another round!

The second installment in the Evan Walker cozy mystery series is now being drafted. Carnage for Christmas (doesn’t that sounds delightful?) is steadily being put to paper and should be out on Amazon in the next two months.

That’s how I roll. Nothing for two years and then BAM! Here, have a book.

If you haven’t been introduced to Evangeline Walker or any of the other characters that call Cadence, Texas their home, I urge you to pick up my book linked above. If you have Kindle Unlimited, my book is available for free!

Join me as we climb up into the attic and get down all the tangled Christmas lights! It’s already August, you know. Time to start decorating! (I can hear the cheers and groans from the different camps as I type.)

Thanks for being such gracious fans, lovebirds! I can’t wait to share Evan’s newest escapades with you.

It’s the final (72 Hour) Countdown!

Whew! What a marathon it’s taken to get to this point. I’ve finally, FINALLY, submitted my debut novel as an e-book on Amazon Kindle. 12 chapters, 65,000 words… I’m relieved as well as fearful.

I’ve scoured over the text, spell-checking and honing grammar as to not get pummeled by internet English majors and Monday-Morning Authors. As I did the line-editing myself, I imagine there’s going to be a few errors, however, all-in-all I’m proud of myself for bringing this project to completion. I began the rough draft to this novel in November of 2020. Nanowrimo for the win!

I imagine the next three days are going to be some of the longest of my life, as it can take up to 72 hours for my book to go live. For those of you with Kindle Unlimited, feel free to check it out for free! If Cozy Mysteries (with a sprinkle of romance) isn’t your thing, please share my updates about this novel with your friends and family as any amount of momentum on the Amazon site will move me up the ladder.

A special thanks to Michelle Krueger for providing the original developmental edit. I look forward to working with you on Book 2 (cheerfully titled Carnage for Christmas). It’s been real, Santa.
